About the Event
The Camping Experience is an extended three-day, three-night workshop designed for those ready to explore the world of backcountry camping and canoeing more deeply — all while enjoying the comforts of front country camping. Hosted in the stunning George Lake Campground in Killarney Provincial Park, this immersive experience builds on everything covered in the Paddle Like A Girl Full-Day Workshop, with an extra night of camping for travel time and deeper connections with nature and fellow adventurers.
Rather than jumping straight into the backcountry, this experience lets you build your skills in a more accessible setting — perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to learn without the pressure of being too remote.
